The Candomino Choir Family

The Espoo based Candomino Choir Family consists of three choirs: Candomino, CandoMini, and CaMinus. Candomino, founded in 1967, is a chamber choir for young adults. The conductor of Candomino is Esko Kallio. CandoMini, founded in 2013, is a children’s choir that Anna Sandström conducts. CaMinus was founded in 2016 and the conductor is Liisalotta Lepistö. Both Candomino and CandoMini perform actively in Finland and abroad.

Et In Terra Pax / Oct 10th, 6 PM, Tampere Cathedral

The Candomino Choir will perform three motets by Johann Sebastian Bach and Frank Martin’s impressive double choir mass under the direction of Esko Kallio. The baroque works will be accompanied by the Espoo Baroque Ensemble.

Candomino's Christmas Concert / Dec 11th, 7 PM, Olaus Petri Church, Helsinki

The Candomino Choir presents a traditional and atmospheric Christmas concert program! The choir is conducted by Esko Kallio.

Iloinen joulu / Dec 12th, 3 PM, Olari church, Espoo

All choirs of the choir family – Candomino, CandoMini and CaMinus – will perform together and separately the repertoire from the classic Christmas music album “Iloinen joulu” (Chearful Christmas). Welcome to Olari Church to hear traditional Finnish Christmas carols with the whole family!

The concert lasts approximately 50 minutes. If you wish, you can wear a Santa hat.
